LOS ANGELES, CA, UNITED STATES, October 29, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- — For North American Tesla drivers, setting up home charging usually presents a frustrating dilemma. Relying on the official 32A Mobile Connector means slower charging speeds and the constant hassle of packing it up for trips. On the other hand, installing a dedicated Tesla Wall Connector requires buying the unit and paying an additional $1,500 to $2,000 for professional electrician hardwiring and panel upgrades.

Addressing this exact gap, popular tech creator Iowa Tesla Guy highlighted a practical alternative: the EVDANCE 40A NACS Level 2 Wall Charger (Flux Pro). Delivering faster charging than a mobile connector without the prohibitive costs of hardwired installation, this ETL-certified charger brings a plug-and-play solution down to just $254 during the EVDANCE Halloween Sale with promo code 25EVDNEW.

THE MISSING "MIDDLE GROUND" BETWEEN TESLA'S OFFICIAL OPTIONS

In his real-world video review on home charging setups, Iowa Tesla Guy explored why so many drivers are looking beyond official charging accessories. The goal isn't necessarily having the most expensive hardwired setup in the garage, but finding a fast, effortless daily routine that makes home charging disappear into the background.

The EVDANCE 40A charger fills this practical middle ground. Operating at 240V, it delivers up to 9.6 kW of continuous power—25% faster than standard 32A mobile connectors—ensuring vehicles are fully charged overnight during lower off-peak electricity rates.

Designed around household convenience, the unit utilizes a standard NEMA 14-50 plug. Drivers with an existing 240V garage outlet can simply mount the unit, plug it in, and start charging immediately—saving thousands of dollars in electrician labor fees, permits, and permanent wall modifications.

BUILT-IN COLOR SCREEN, SMART CONTROLS, AND CERTIFIED SAFETY

Built specifically for modern Tesla and NACS vehicle drivers, the EVDANCE charger offers premium visibility and smart controls in an accessible package:

• 3.5-INCH TFT COLOR DISPLAY: Displays live voltage, amperage, wattage, total energy consumed, and plug temperature directly on the wall unit—eliminating the need to pull out a smartphone app just to check charging status.

• APP CONNECTIVITY & ADJUSTABLE AMPERAGE: Wi-Fi and Bluetooth controls allow users to adjust charging current from 6A to 40A to match household electrical capacity and schedule off-peak sessions.

• CERTIFIED SAFETY PROTECTION: ETL and FCC certified with IP65 weather-resistant housing, automatic thermal throttling, and multi-layer electrical safeguards, backed by a 3-year manufacturer warranty.
